Today, I am very pleased to share the 2025–2026 CDS Annual Report, Strengthening End-to-End Digital Service Delivery, and the 2026–2027 Tactical Plan, Powering Service Delivery at Scale.
Together, these documents reflect the progress we have made over the past year and the priorities that will guide us as we enter the final year of the CDS Strategic Vision 2024–2027.
As we look ahead to CDS’s 10th anniversary, we remain focused on what matters most; delivering better outcomes for the people who use Government of Canada (GC) services. Across government, our Platform products GC Forms, GC Notify, and GC Design System, developed as digital public goods that are reusable, interoperable, and designed to scale, continue to be adopted at a rapid pace.
We launched CanadaLogin and began the transition to replace the dozens of login systems currently used across government. Meanwhile, our on-demand digital expertise services are supporting multiple departmental service delivery initiatives. Together, this work enables departments to deliver secure, reliable, and user-centered digital services more effectively.
CDS has also been instrumental in strengthening Canada’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), the shared systems that enable trusted, seamless digital services across governments and beyond.
We advanced Canada’s Digital Public Infrastructure on two fronts: by leading cross-sectoral roundtables in collaboration with the Digital Governance Council that included other governments, the private sector, academia and civil society from across Canada, and by launching GC Issue and Verify with our first partners in the federal family, a new platform that enables the secure issuance and verification of digital credentials that has vast potential for use cases of both other governments and sectors across the country.
This progress demonstrates the dedication of our teams, the strength of our partnerships, and our commitment to improve end-to-end digital service delivery across the GC.
As we complete the final year of our CDSNext Strategic Vision, we will continue to turn our vision into action, strengthening digital services, supporting our partners, and building more connected, seamless, and responsive government delivery for the public.
